Each year on the last day of the semester, Eisenhower has a Christmas Sing-A-Long. We invite parents, grandparents, and members of the community to join us in the fun event. Each grade sings a special Christmas song, then we end the celebration with several group songs. Mrs. Wyckoff played the piano for the Twelve Days of Christmas.
We had a lot of fun in December with our Elf on a Shelf. The students named the elf, Crystal. We kept a daily diary of all the fun and sometimes silly things that Crystal did while visiting us at school.
This year, I was asked to participate in a fundraiser for the S.A.D.D. organization. They were hosting a Dancing with the Teachers Competition. Mrs. Huck's kindergarten class and our first grade class joined together to dance the Macarena. The end of our routine was a group ensemble of Eisenhower Eagles' staff and students doing the Whip and Nae Nae. What fun we had!!
