On Thursday, the students at Eisenhower had a couple of special visitors -- Callie Towers and her Jersey Cow, Jitterbug, stopped by from Southwest Dairy Farmers to share with students about the dairy farming process.
On Thursday, the Brookdale Living Center invited the Eisenhower students down for an Easter Egg Hunt. The students had a great time finding eggs filled with prizes and candy.
Today we had some special guests from the high school. The Crusader Drama class stopped by today to perform a skit and musical number from "Horton Hears A Who." Then, the cast members visited the classrooms to read some of their favorite Dr. Seuss books. What a treat! Thank you to Ms. Kelly's class for coming to see us today!
Last week we read the story, Lady In the Moon. We have been learning about what causes the different phases of the moon. Today, we had a tasty lesson on creating moon phases using Oreo cookies. Isn't learning yummy -- I mean fun?!?!
