This month's character trait was Citizenship. Our student of the month was Harper!! She always has a smile on her face & is willing to help out any way she can! Way to go, Harper!!
Today we did a really fun STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activity that Mrs. Jessica Seeliger (aka Harper's mom) found for us online. We made Doodlebots - Doodling Robots using pool noodles, markers, rubber bands, and electric tooth brushes. The students had a super time watching their Doodlebots spin around and draw all over their papers. Thanks, Mrs. Seeliger, for coming and helping us with this super fun science lesson!! It was a hit!!
Each day of Read Across America, we had a different dress up day. This was Green Eggs & Ham (our favorite). The high school drama department also came by and did a performance for us about Dr. Seuss. Then they took turns reading books to each class.
